Russia’s Medvedev calls for control over pharmaceuticals sales
GORKI, Moscow Region, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- Russia must take efficient measures to prevent sales of counterfeit pharmaceuticals, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Wednesday at a meeting of a presidium of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and Priority Projects.
“Moreover, we should prevent our people from buying counterfeit pharmaceuticals. This is a real threat to life. We need efficient measures to control medicines’ movement from producers to customers,” Medvedev said.
He also said that pharmacy chains were currently offering analogues of foreign branded pharmaceuticals at lower prices.
